Fallow Ridge Retreat

We were engaged to design the commercial interior concept for Fallow Ridge Retreat - a stunning luxury escape based north of Dunedin. Our inspiration was the high-country hills around the site, we wanted the interior to be earthy and grounded with the environment.

Our spatial planning needed to provide a variety of functions in one space without feeling cramped, delivering a kitchen, dining space, lounge area, bedroom and bathroom in the one room.

The deep green chosen for the walls contrasted with the timber battens created a luxe country feel to the space. Our arched headboard in deep green boucle combined with textured rugs and textiles delivers a cosy and comforting feel. 

The kitchen was designed in large scale porcelain tiles with cracked finish that mimicked the earth around the site.
